Secs on Decks is an Exeter-based DJ and producer known for her emotionally charged, bass-driven techno that hits with zeal and intensity. Rooted in melodic techno and shaped by a love for peak-time energy, her sets are journeys—balancing euphoria and drive to move both body and mind.

 

Her name is a playful nod to her past life as a Personal Assistant (aka Secretary) in the Private Household and corporate world, where she perfected timing, focus, and energy management. Skills she used back then to raise staff morale, that now power her performances behind the decks. With a deep instinct for reading a room, she crafts sets that fuse hypnotic grooves, soaring melodies, and relentless basslines.

 

A graduate of SubBass Academy, Secs on Decks first found her voice through electronic music production before naturally evolving into DJing. Though originally shaped by London’s iconic nightlife and warehouse rave scene in the late ’90s, she now brings that raw energy to the South West’s underground circuit and beyond. With fond memories of The Monastery in Torquay, Dance Academy in Plymouth and Yeovil’s Country Club, she aims to replicate a vibe that she fears may be lost if advocates like herself, don’t strive to keep the scene alive. 

 

Whether it’s a late-night club set or a studio/radio session, her mission is clear: to connect, uplift, and keep the crowd locked in. With new releases on the horizon and momentum building across the UK, Secs on Decks is only just getting started.
